old log

myrclasp-elementthe myriadicity logo is based on a simple pattern that fits within and around reflections of itself, with the extended composition presenting the same geometric aspect at any viewing scale.  (this composition technique is called recursion, familiar to programmers and mathematicians, conveying the property in this case of self-similarity across scale.)  blurring at the edge of the logo hints at unending extension beyond its frame, while regression towards its center suggests unlimited intricacy.

the funky letters in the logo's title are formed from shapes found within the pattern.  (while this could imply diversity, the reality is that some of the included letters are recognizable only by the reader's indulgence, and i'm glad i didn't have to try to convey some other letters which are even less discernable in the pattern, like 'B'/'b' or 'H'/'h'.)

there's also a nifty little "favicon" - a 16x16 dot glyph that kinda looks like a small version of the logo - with which browsers signify the site in bookmark lists, tabs, address bars, and so forth.
